About Us
We are a group of parents and family of children at Burnt Oak along with supportive staff members.

As a PTFA, we reformed in March 2021 with a fresh name and image, but with the aim of continuing the wonderful work of the previous committee.

Our purpose is to raise funds for resources and activities not funded by the local authority that support and promote educational, emotional and ethical learning experiences, with a view that no pupil of the school should be excluded from participation in any school activity.

Join the Committee

We would like to extend a welcome to all parents who would like to offer a little of their time, in contributing ideas, helping to organise events or just to input their experience or knowledge in helping to make decisions for the organisation.

Your commitment in terms of time, is to attend 2 out of 4 meetings per year plus the AGM.

We intend to make this experience fun for parents so that the fundraising outcomes are fun for the children.

Contact to find out more and maybe come along to a meeting to see if it suits you.

Volunteer

What we need most at the moment to bring all these ideas to life are volunteer parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and kids too, to give a little bit of time.

May just an hour or so after school on a Book Stall, supporting your child in taking part in sponsored events, tracking down donations from local businesses for raffle prizes, supervising at evening or weekend events.
